Wine Tasting on Jan 26, 2022

The Calling, Chardonnay, Sonoma County Pale straw in the glass with aromas of lemon, pomelo, and wet stone. Waves of citrus flavors mingle with Gravenstein apple and the faintest whisper of oak, kissed by a pleasing salinity reminiscent of sea spray and oyster shell.
The Calling, Dutton Ranch Chardonnay, Russian River Valley Refreshing, floral, and a stunning embodiment of the tireless efforts of the Dutton family to produce world-class Chardonnay from the Russian River Valley. Lemon, peach, limestone, and honey waft from the glass while crushed white rose petals, Bartlett pear, honeysuckle, and Meyer lemon zest fill the palate with a well-balanced, medium-to-full-bodied Chardonnay.
The Calling, Pinot Noir, Monterey County Hints of tar, turned earth and crushed rocks meet with brighter pomegranate on the nose of this bottling. The palate pairs muddled red fruit with earthy sagebrush spice.
The Calling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Alexander Valley Dark plum red in color with aromas of ripe blackberry and dark chocolate with hints of spicy oak and black pepper. The palate is rich and concentrated with flavors of ripe blue and black fruits, laced together with toasted oak notes which finishes with robust and balanced tannin.
